An effective facilitator works diligently to create space for all, actively listening, integrating, and synthesizing the disparate voices.
Over the years, I’ve been honored to lead dozens of nonviolent direct action trainings for the War Resisters League, Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service, and School of the America’s Watch. I’ve facilitated anti-racist trainings at college campuses across the Midwest, and offer facilitation services for leadership teams of vowed religious and community action groups. I’ve put together trainings for Community Peacemakers, a program at DePaul that pairs students with CPS classrooms to facilitate conversations on violence and oppression. I also serve as an active board member of the War Resisters League.
